HID Global®, the worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, has appointed Vishwanath Kulkarni as Director of Sales, Physical Access Control, India and SAARC. In this role, Vishwanath will be managing the sales and marketing for the India and SAARC region. In addition to this, he will also be implementing a strong channel centric business model focused on creating value to customers and will be reporting to Mr. Steve Katanas Director of Sales, Physical Access Control System, South APAC, HID Global.
Prior to his current position, Vishwanath worked in the areas of IT products Sales, marketing and product management. He started his career in Pre-sales and software development before moving into sales and has worked with organizations like Honeywell India, Honeywell Middle East, NEC and Cisco. Vishwanath also has expertise in IoT and has worked in projects related to Energy, Smart & Safe cities and Digital India. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical) from Karnataka University and is Six Sigma certified
