ndependence Day was celebrated at Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur Works on August 15, 2014 with usual fervor and gaiety. Mr T V Narendran, Managing Director, Tata Steel India and South East Asia, hoisted the national flag. Contingents of Tata Steel Security, Fire Department, NCC and Tata Steel Kennel Club presented an impressive guard of honour. Mr Gopal Prasad Choudhary, Chief of Security, Tata Steel, received the Managing Director and accompanied him during inspection of the contingents. Senior officials of Tata Steel and representatives of the media were present during the ceremony. Mr Narendran addressed the gathering after hoisting the national flag.
