Mr Rituraj Sinha, the young and dynamic COO of the SIS Group of companies has now earned the unique distinction and honour of being elected as the youngest member of the exclusive The Ligue Internationale des Sociétés de Surveillance, a global organisation of the manned guarding companies at its this year’s General Assembly in London. One of the oldest bodies, The Ligue Internationale des Sociétés de Surveillance was founded in 1934 and is based in Switzerland. The Ligue is an association of private security organisations throughout the free world. Over the years it has played a vital role in defining, establishing and maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards of the private security industry as we know it world-wide.
This has been achieved through the very open and cordial exchange of ideas and experiences between the member companies, who are all leading companies in their respective countries. The Ligue is now represented on all continents and in thirty four countries. As a mark of the high esteem in which the Ligue is held world-wide it is represented in a consultative capacity as a nongovernmental organisation at the
United Nations and the European Common Market.
The objective of the Ligue is to establish a supranational organisation which will initiate and broaden contacts and exchanges of experience and opinion, and therefore will deepen reciprocal understanding among its members and the countries
they represent. The end in view is the solution of common problems difficult or insoluble at a national level, and the development of techniques and organizational methods more effective than those possible to individual initiative and local resources; the animating idea throughout being to improve and increase the overall potential of private security activity in the world.
