Peregrine Guarding deploys security services at the New Parliament Building

Peregrine Guarding, a Tenon Group Company, has been selected for providing manned guarding services at the New Parliament Building at New Delhi. Being a part of this project, Peregrine also supported during the Inaugural Ceremony of Central Vista by providing special security services. More than 80 personnel were deployed at all the gates, including the new under-construction parliament building.

Under the special deployment, Peregrine Guarding would provide static and mobile manned guarding solutions at the site. Crowd management, maintaining social distances, frisking (inside and outside the premises) are some of the key responsibilities for Peregrine staff deployed at the project.

Apart from these duties, Peregrine’s officers would also be assisting police and paramilitary forces in maintaining and managing security during VIP movements, vendor management and general public marshalling.

Speaking on this, Brig Rajan Oberoi, Global CEO Peregrine Guarding (Tenon group) said, “We at Peregrine Guarding are proud to be on board to provide security at the New Parliament building and Central Vista. It is a matter of prestige for us to cater to the security needs of the icon of India’s democratic spirit. The group is deploying their global best practices to maintain the standard of security and protocol in the area.”

Peregrine has been working at the Central Vista project site for more than a year. Initially, Peregrine was deployed for traffic marshalling which now has expanded to manned guarding services as well.
