Mr. Saranbir Baweja has been elevated as the County Manager – India at Pelco by Schneider Electric. He has professionally driven sales for Schneider for many years. He has experience across sales, business development & project management roles. He is considered to be a team leader having hands on experience in all facets of client management.
He sets out to make Pelco video surveillance cameras and systems, once a market leader, again the preferred choice with clients across India….a tough job, considering the vast improvement that some chinese manufacturers have made in their products to steadily gain market share with their economic pricing strategies.
Pelco by Schneider-Electric, commonly referred to as Pelco, is an America-based security and surveillance technologies company, founded in 1957 and headquartered in Clovis, California. It became part of Schneider Electric’s Building Automation business unit, which already included previous acquisitions of TAC, Andover Controls and Invensys Building Systems in 2007.
Saranbir has been a top sales performer for Schneider / Pelco India, consecutively for three years. Apart from improving business with enterprise customers he will also be forging deeper relationships with channel partners to become a preferred OEM.
Before joining Schneider in 2010 Saranbir has worked with leaders such as Wipro and Siemens, where he handled their security and building management systems portfolios.
He is a qualified electronics engineer from Punjab Technical University and an MBA, specialising in Marketing from Symbiosis International University.
