Fool proof security including access-controlled passenger entry, baggage scanning, CCTV cameras and other surveillance measures will be put in place at all metro stations, Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) managing director NVS Reddy said. In this connection a coordination committee, comprising representatives from Hyderabad and Cyberabad commissionerates, HMR and LTMRHL has been formed. The panel will finalise security arrangements, establish police stations and set up additional forces to tackle crimes related to HMR, Cyberabad commissioner CV Anand said.
HMR officials held a meeting on the security plan for the Metro Rail with CV Anand and other top police officials, security experts, L&T officials at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
