KBC Networks Announces New Director of Strategic Accounts

Domenic Isola, 35-year security industry veteran, recently joined KBC Networks, a leading manufacturer of transmission equipment for security, commercial and networking solutions, bringing his years of sales and marketing experience as well as global relationships to the position of director of strategic accounts. Before joining KBC Networks, Isola’s most recent experience was with OT Systems, headquartered in Hong Kong.

In this position Isola grew the company’s OEM business as well as developing markets, establishing the company’s brand in Europe, Asia and North America. Isola was instrumental in developing products for the security industry’s growing utilization of internet protocol (IP) for networking remote sites and large installations. “I’ve known the team at KBC Networks for more than 25 years,” said Isola. “They have created an innovative product line that meets the changing demands in security and commercial transmission installations. I’m looking forward to furthering their brand in the industry and creating successful global partnerships.”

Isola started his security industry career as an installer, integrator and dealer, spending 7 years learning the industry from the field. This beginning gave him insight into what’s required for a successful security installation and what installers and integrators need from product manufacturers. In 1989, he left his position as an installer to join a manufacturer, leading a national sales team of both an inside sales force and manufacturers’ representatives for Gyyr, Inc., a leading security manufacturer in time lapse recorders, multiplexers and transmission equipment. Before leaving Gyyr, Isola grew the company’s business in the emerging Asia Pacific region.

In 2000, Isola left Gyyr for the next phase of his career in the security transmission industry, specifically fiber optics. He initially represented Optelecom as a manufacturers’ representative for the Asia Pacific market. In 2004, he went back to manufacturing, joining GE Security/IFS to specialize in government accounts and installations. Then, in 2006, Isola went to work for OT Systems.
