Vision-Box’s Orchestra™ Digital Identity Management Platform, has achieved a renewal of its Privacy by Design certification, after an assessment by MSECB – the certification body specialised in the certification of management systems.

The internationally recognized standard was once again granted to Vision-Box following a detailed assessment report submitted as result of KPMG audit. Privacy by Design is a framework based on proactively embedding privacy into the design and operation of IT systems, networked infrastructure, and business practices.

Orchestra™ is a Digital Identity Management Platform, a collaborative ecosystem of real-time data orchestration able to integrate biometric devices to third-party systems, guaranteeing interoperability between travel stakeholders. The platform connects multiple stakeholders around the traveller journey to enhance security, customer experience, non-aeronautical revenue, and operational efficiency. The platform allows for real-time traveller-centric information sharing and monitoring, enabling data-informed decision-making. With Privacy by Design at its core, travellers are the sole owners of their personal identifiable information.

Orchestra™ has been Privacy by Design certified since May 2018 by Ryerson University and in 2019 by MSECB. Vision-Box proactively obtained the certification, demonstrating its commitment to a privacy-first solution ecosystem, and is an exemplary leader amongst its peers in the biometric and contactless technology sector. This certification validates end-to-end security and Vision-Box’s purpose to provide privacy as the default seal of trust embedded into its design.

Orchestra’s multi-tenant architecture, together with its administrative and operational controls proactively embeds privacy and security into its design ensuring Data Protection and Data Security throughout the end-to-end journey. It is the only Identity Management Platform certified by Privacy by Design and compliant with GDPR, orchestrating all the functionalities from traveller touchpoints and any other external systems, bringing earlier information and innovation to the end-to-end process.
