Dali thermal imaging aids fight against Ebola

Dali, a manufacturer of thermal imaging solutions in China, is launching its latest development, the DM60-W system plus a handheld TE-W thermal detector. Monitoring human body temperature and taking quarantine measures for those detected with fever will help prevent the spread of the Ebola virus and will indicate which people need treatment for their symptoms. Ebola cases and deaths have provoked a severe panic worldwide. The Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) is a disease of humans and other primates.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the contagious, haemorrhagic fever was first discovered in eastern Guinea in March and has since killed more than 2,400 people, making it the worst Ebola outbreak in history.
