Hikvision, the world’s leading provider of surveillance and security solutions, has initiated a School Security Program in India to promote security awareness and resilience among the education ecosystem with special focus on student safety. This program, launched about a month ago, is getting overwhelming response from schools across India.
“Today’s school security challenges forced us to think something out of the box. We wanted to sensitize the education sector about the school security issues by addressing them through an innovative program. This led to Hikvision’s School Security Program, which is designed to support the schools in creating a cohesive security strategy for their premises, ensuring that there are no serious infrastructure lapses,” said Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO, Prama Hikvision India.
For this purpose Hikvision has contacted over 15000 schools, and within a very short span of time, has got an overwhelming response from as many as 500 schools expressing their willingness to participate in the program.
The program is being conducted with the help of Hikvision Channel Partners. These partners are officially recognized by Hikvision, and have Technical Experts who are well qualified to understand the finer technicalities of security requirements in a school.
