Hikvision, has announced that it has received two prestigious awards at the Secona Shield Awards 2016. The first award titled ‘Control Room Of The Year’ was bagged by Hikvision for its effective monitoring, maintenance and management of its security products installed at Vijaya Bank’s Control Room. The second one titled ‘Entrepreneur of the Year ‘Award for safety and security was won by Mr. Ashish P Dhakan, Managing Director & CEO of Prama Hikvision (India) Pvt Ltd.
Control Room of the year
Control Room is the nerve center of any security system. In the case of Vijaya Bank the central location consists of a combination of hardware and software to carry out the complete surveillance process. Twelve servers have been installed to take care of 24000 cameras distributed along 2000 branches and ATM’s all over India.
Entrepreneur of the year
Also at the Shield Awards 2016, Prama Hikvision (India) Pvt. Ltd’s Managing Director & CEO Mr. Ashish Dhakan was honored by ‘Amit Popat’ Award for the Entrepreneur of the Year in Safety & Security. The award was presented to Mr. Dhakan by at a glittering ceremony held at Secutech India 2016 Exhibition. The award demonstrates the whole hearted commitment of Mr. Ashish Dhakan in making India a safer country to live in.
