G4S Secure Solutions has appointed David Kamperin as General Manager of its Fairfax, Va., office. In his new role, Kamperin will oversee sales and operational activity throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. Kamperin brings to G4S extensive leadership and management experience built on a more than 30-year career in law enforcement with the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and other law enforcement agencies. Following his 2011 retirement as Commander/Deputy Chief of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, Kamperin brought his skills to the private sector, managing security operations as Director, Public Space Management for the Downtown D.C. Business Improvement District.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and a graduate certification in Public Management from George Washington University.
