The recently launched NKBA500 ultra-high definition (UHD) decoding network keyboard from Dahua has won an IF Design Award 2017. The IF Design Awards are among the most prestigious and largest design competitions in the world. Since 1953, designers, manufacturers and users have looked to IF as a sign of good design. This year the competition was fierce and together there were 5575 entries from 59 countries all over the world competing with one another. After a 3-day long examination and deliberation by a panel of 58 international jurors, who are experts in design, industry and architecture, the Dahua NKB5000 UHD decoding network keyboard stood out and was recognised by this best-known label for design excellence.
The Dahua NKB5000 ultra-high definition decoding network keyboard is an advanced keyboard featuring ergonomics, superb appearance and high quality. After multiple man-machine simulation tests, it surpassed the traditional heavy design of a network keyboard, by splitting the touch screen and keyboard, which connect to each other via Bluetooth. The anti-fatigue design of the keyboard fits the curve of human arms, and the angle is adjustable, in order to fit different user heights. Winning the IF design award 2017 is a strong recognition of Dahua’s continuous effort on quality of design, materials and craftsmanship. Dahua is keen on innovation and quality, which cannot be achieved without good design. And this is not the first internationally renowned design award for Dahua. In 2014, the Dahua HD Sync Auto Focus camera won an IF Product Design Award. In the same year, the Dahua full-HD TV Box was recognised by an IF Product Design Award as well as a Red Dot Award.
