Mr C Bhaskar Reddy has been appointed on the Board of Directors of World Association of Detectives (WAD). Mr Reddy, a renowned figure in the private security industry, is the chairman of APSA Hyderabad and the Managing Director of Excel Security Services, Andhra Pradesh.
With origins dating back to 1921, W.A.D. is the longest established and largest association of its kind in the world. The World Association of Detectives was founded in 1925. In 1950, the World Secret Service Association, Inc. was formed as a joint venture by the combined membership of the International Secret Service Association (founded in 1921) and the World Association of Detectives.
Speaking to SECURITY TODAY, Mr Reddy said that he has been a member of the prestigious WAD for ten years and was hopeful that as a member of the Board of Directors he would contribute to getting Investigations, also the authentication that it deserved in India. “ We have been fighting for this for many years and now we are hopeful that like PSARA we will also get this recognition from the government” He said. Mr Reddy said that with frauds on the rise rapidly, investigations need to be recognised accordingly.
