Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, won the best innovative CCTV product award in India for its Q6000-E camera. Held for the first time in India, the SECONA Shield Awards focused on recognizing excellence in the Indian Electronic Security & Safety Industry. Axis Q6000-E is especially suited for city surveillance where there is a need for both a Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera to provide detail, and for a full overview camera to cover the entire area.
The AXIS Q6000-E Network Camera is an innovative outdoor ready network camera offering a 360° overview provided by four 2 megapixel camera heads. The product is based on open systems which means that it can be easily integrated into other security solutions and that software from partners can be added.
Integrated with an AXIS Q60-E series camera, which is easily mounted inside the AXIS Q6000-E, the solution offers full overview and the possibility to optically zoom in on any object of interest. This makes the situational awareness camera solution ideal for city surveillance applications such as monitoring of public squares and parking lots and other open areas.
The AXIS Q6000-E allows monitoring a wide area (up to 215,000 sq ft) and simultaneously is able to optically zoom in on details. The product is quick and easy to install and it allows optimization of bandwidth and storage without compromising on image quality.
Commenting on the win, Sudhindra Holla, Country Manager, Axis Communications, India & SAARC said, “Research and Development has always been a highly prioritized area in order to maintain Axis’ market-leading position and this award stands testimony to that fact.
