ASIS Society of Protection Profession Chapter 207 (New Delhi) has been awarded with the I.B Hale Chapter of the year award. ASIS International presents awards to raise awareness of the outstanding work being done in the security management field. Through their chapter and certification awards, they recognize the creative programs, projects and initiatives taking place at the local level.
The I.B.Hale Chapter of the Year Award was established in 1972 to honour former ASIS President and Chairman of the Board I.B. Hale, this award recognizes the most outstanding chapters in each award group. Submissions are evaluated on a range of criteria including: membership growth, quality of chapter programs, support of ASIS certifications and the foundation, chapter financial status, promotion of the profession in the local community, and prompt submission of chapter reports to headquarters.
The monetary award for each group winner is an amount of $600.00 and in the amount of $300.00 for each honourable mention. ASIS Society of Protection Profession Chapter 207 was declared “Winner” in the Group 5 category (160-250 members). The award celebration function will be a part of the upcoming GSX+ on Friday, 25 September. The Chapter will receive a monetary award amount of $600.
As far as the statistics about the India Chapters’ Award history, ASIS Society of Protection Profession Chapter 207 was an Honorable Mention recipient for the Chapter Website of the Year, earlier in 2015.
A beaming Mr Manish Datta, Chairman oF the ASIS 207 Chapter said that this was all due to the efforts of this team of office bearers as well as the good wishes of the ASIS Membership.
Other Chapters that won this award this year are Jamaica; Lima, Peru; Mexico City and San Francisco Bay Area. Chapters which were given an honourable mention include Hawaii and Houston.
