cs-dahua-1Dahua cameras appear to be making steady inroads into India with reports coming in of various case studies where the cameras are providing security. Two prominent installations have been at the renowned Tanishq brand in Nagpur and Ganpati temple in Ranjangaon.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that an object attracts people’s eyes always worth a great deal. Jewellery, a word of alluring, is worth a lot; therefore, how to upgrade the security level is one of the top questions jewelry stores always seek to resolve. Tanishq, promoted by the Tata Group, is a prominent jewellery brand in India. It offers traditional as well as trendy designs in gold, diamond and platinum jewelry, pioneers the concept of branded jewelry and ornaments. Gained exciting revenue last year, Tanishq expanded its business to Nagpur, the green city in India. Tanishq officials decided to adopt Dahua analog cameras (DH-CA-FW450D) for surveillance in its showroom.

According to the revenue breakdown, the market has a huge reaction to this series due to their outstanding cost-performance ratio. As a total solution provider, Dahua also offers a full range of DVRs for selection and practical surveillance software to operate, such as PSS (for small-size application) and DMSS (Phone surveillance), by which, things could be more visible and controllable.

Ms. Khushi Pillai, ABM@Titan Industries, showed her appreciation for the good performance of Dahua cameras, which were supplied by Aditya Infotech Ltd.—Dahua’s sole distributor in India. Ms. Khushi Pillai also added: “We trust Aditya Infotech and Dahua brand, the cameras give us confidence to further employ their products in our future business expansion in Bilaspur, and we expect the same good service and responsiveness from them.”

Securing the Lord

cs-dahua-3The Maha Ganapati Temple, a decade-century old temple in Ranjangaon, India, built to worship Indian God – Lord Ganesh has recently undergone a security enhancement using a Dahua network solution. As a public venue, the temple receives a large stream of regular visitors and quite often sees religious events, which both level up the difficulty of protection and security. Meanwhile, given the circumstance that the temple is a historical site requiring delicate preservation, the Temple Trust finally decided to have Dahua network solution to secure its premises. The camera installed for this task is the Dahua 3MP full HD network IR camera (IPC-HFW3300) and the storage device is the Dahua 16ch 1 U NVR (NVR3216).

The Dahua 3MP full HD network IR camera renders superb image quality with great colour reduction, even in low light environments. It supports max.20fps@3M & 25/30fps@1080p realtime recording. Moreover, the built-in SD card design removes any inconvenience incurred by potential internet interruption. Dahua network cameras all conform to Onvif. As for the back-end, the Dahua 16ch 1 U NVR can accommodate a maximum of 2SATAs, up to 8Tb storage.

cs-dahua-4In addition to reliable hardware, the temple runs Dahua PSS software on its client-end to give a full control of this Dahua network solution. Dahua PSS is a surveillance software specified for small-sized applications. It integrates live monitoring, playback, record management, alarm centre, e-Map functions etc.. And in the next version, an intelligent analysis function will be added with optimised UI through a modular design. Users should find the interface more intuitive and operation easier, for example, with the new PC NVR function and window-slide function, which is more suitable for multi-screen surveillance.

Mr. Makarand R. Deo Maharaj, the Chief Trustee of Ranjan Gaon Trust Temple wrote a letter of thanks: “We’d like to extend our appreciation to Samarth Systems-Aditya Infotech Ltd. for providing excellent Dahua brand IP products and services. We hope they will get the blessing of Maha Ganpati for excellent solution and services, we are also planning for some 40 more Dahua IP cameras with full HD NVR in the near future.”

Robbin, Dahua sales manager for the Indian market commented: “We’re proud to have the esteemed Ranjan Gaon Trust Temple choosing Dahua IP products as its security solution, which is thanks to the hardwork of our India distributor and SI partner. As a leading security products and solutions provider, Dahua will consistently strive to provide optimised security solutions to all kinds of users and ensure timely technical backup services through local channels. “
